The Everlasting Trail

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

Are you tired and weary from the storms and burdens of life? Do you seek rest, purpose, or fulfillment?

What if I told you all of these things are available to you today? What if I told you the answers you are searching for are found in the Word of God, the Bible?

The Bible teaches that God loves you and desires to have a relationship with you.

However, because of humankind’s selfishness and stubbornness, we have all sinned and are therefore separated from God.

But 2,000 years ago God sent His only son to Earth to live a perfect life and take the punishment that we deserve in order that we can be reconciled back into a relationship with God if we choose to accept Him.

You choose to accept Him, by turning away from your sins and surrendering your life to Jesus. Then, in turn, you freely receive eternal life, purpose, and peace.

If you would like to make that decision today, you can pray this prayer:

“Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.”

If you have prayed this prayer, then today you begin your journey on the everlasting trail. However, we must warn you that this trail will not always be easy. In fact, the Bible is clear that in this life you will have trouble, but Christ, who has overcome the world, promises He will never leave you or forsake you, no matter what. In all circumstances, “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
